Another year has passed and our little Jordan(Jobo's) has turned 9! It is a bitter sweet. It's hard to see your little boy grow up so fast, but it is fun too. He is such the "thinker" like his dad. It is hard to believe some of the deep questions that he comes up with on a typical drive to school or just in passing. We are blessed to have such a great son and are very proud of him!For his birthday he told us he wanted to have his party at Fastlane. It is a new bowling alley/laser tag/video games/indoor go cart venue.
We went there last year but that did not stop him from wanting to go there again. The biggest fun of the day was when his 6 buddies came home with us and had a slumber party that night. Man, what were we thinking! It got pretty loud at times, but was well worth it. Of course he asked for anything Legos...But, the special surprise gift from mom and dad was a guitar and a book of Jason Mraz songs that he wants to learn how to play. So, now it is time for some lessons...and of course he has already asked if I could get Jason to come teach him how to play. I had to tell him that might be a little tough to do and that he might have to talk to "Santa Nancy" about that one.....Pablo
